Meet the Morrow Management Team

Jim Morrow

Founder

Jim Morrow got his start in 1970 with San Diego Gas and Electric (SDG&E). During that time, developers were beginning to realize that their superintendents did not understand the rules and regulations associated with coordinating dry utilities.

Jim saw an opportunity to educate developers, challenge the status quo and advocate for fairness in the industry, so he parted ways with SDG&E and set off on a path that would eventually lead to founding Morrow Management in 2001.

In over four decades, through serving as Principal or Managing Partner of several dry utility consulting firms, Jim has established a reputation of integrity, professionalism and expertise in the industry. He founded Morrow Management on an impressive track record of providing exemplary results and successfully challenging the status quo with regard to design criteria and rule, regulation and policy implementation.

Scott Morrow

Principal

Scott Morrow is proud to wear the Morrow name. He’s also an avid UCLA Bruin, where he played collegiate volleyball and earned his degree in Business Economics with a minor in Accounting.

As Principal, Scott runs the day-to-day operations at Morrow Management and oversees projects.

Scott began his tenure with Morrow Management while studying at UCLA. He started out in project management, but quickly demonstrated his passion and aptitude for leadership. He brings his sharp eye for accounting in order to work within client budget constraints; an in-depth knowledge of both design and tariffs, bringing a legal perspective to projects and avoiding potential pitfalls; and innovation to reach creative solutions and achieve optimal results for clients.

Scott learned as much or more from playing high-level collegiate athletics as he did from his academic endeavors. Leadership, drive, determination, teamwork and perseverance are qualities he brings to the workplace daily, as he continues to grow and advance Morrow Management into the 21st century.
